The short version: SeamShot doesn't have a server. Every capture, comparison, and watch check happens on your device, and the images and text it stores stay in your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

What SeamShot processes

When you use SeamShot, it reads and temporarily processes the content of the page you're capturing — text, image URLs, and a screenshot of the page's visible content — in order to:

This data is stored in your browser's local IndexedDB storage (the same origin as the extension) and is never sent to SeamShot's developer or any third party. Uninstalling the extension, or clearing its site data, removes it.
